D. in Urban Development from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Masters in Environmental Planning and Design from Oxford Brookes University. His research focuses on industrial mining heritage and sustainable development, a topic he explored in his PhD thesis. Currently, she leads a FONDECYT project on mining cultural landscape and collaborates as co-investigator in another FONDECYT project related to Lota.
