Southern Research Nucleus

Mission

The motivation of Nudisur provides for the community a space of creation, debate and reflection on knowledge, the culture and heritage from a decolonial perspective. To this end, we will work with various actors, such as national and international academics, the public service and community organisations in society, with the intention of contributing to the integral development of society.

Vision

Nudisur seeks to become an important national and international benchmark, through the generation of knowledge about heritage, culture and territory, from a decolonial perspective. The joint work of all these edges, will allow the construction of inclusive, collaborative and solidarity communities.

Values

We believe that the relationship between the academy and the people, brings incalculable returns for all involved. Together, it is possible to create a world in which different forms of knowledge meet and intertwine to promote and make society a pluralistic, equitable and progressive environment.
