The diverse appeal of the area from the coast to the mountains
The attractiveness of the territory that contemplates the great Conception, is varied and diverse for travelers in search of new experiences. Among their activities we can highlight beaches, ecological reserves and tours.
One of the free routes that is available from Tuesday to Sunday, is the walk to the German viewpoint located in the Metropolitan Park Cerro Caracol. The main access is through the intersection of Tucapel and Victor Lamas streets.
For this entrance, you must go along the road to the hill for 200 meters to the park nursery. Another destination, not well known by the Penquistas and its visitors, is the beach Los Cuervos, located in the area of Hualpén.
This destination is characterized by being between Caleta Lenga and Ramuntcho beach and to reach it you must travel a path that borders the coast. On the other hand, where the river Biobío ends, we find the mouth and its majestic beach.
A must for trekking lovers is the Nonguén National Reserve, which consists of different circuits in which you can appreciate the ecological heritage of the region.
