Alejandra Brito Peña

University of Concepción 🇨🇱

Historian with a degree in Humanities, mention in History, from the Universidad de Chile, Master in History from the Universidad de Concepción and PhD in American Studies from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. Full Professor at the University of Concepción. She has directed several research projects funded by the Chilean National Agency for Research and Development on the link between industry, territory and social actors, and was the director of the Anillo project “Industrial heritage: forms of collective habitation in southern Chile. Contributions for its valorization and integrated recovery.” Currently, she is the director of the Fondecyt Regular project “Industries and women in southern Chile. Labor inclusion and social reproduction (1940-1982)”.
