Elizabeth Aguilera is an emblematic figure in the city of Lota, Chile, who has dedicated her life to serving her community with passion and commitment. Born into a family deeply rooted in the mining industry, Elizabeth challenged gender norms from an early age, displaying a strong work ethic and leadership in a time when women had more traditional roles. Her dedication led her to study Nursing at the University of Chile, and later, she embarked on a new educational journey, earning a degree in Social Programs Administration. She currently serves as the President of the Citizen Forum for Heritage, Culture, and Tourism in Lota.
