Nepalese architect of Swiss origin. He completed his Master’s Degree in Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich in 1992 and his doctorate at the Department of Archaeology at the University of Durham, England, in 2023. He has a long career as a planner and architect in the Himalaya region and regularly works as a UNESCO consultant on World Heritage projects in Nepal, India, Uzbekistan, Myanmar and Cambodia, among others. He is a past president of ICOMOS Nepal and an advisory committee member of the Asian Network of Industrial Heritage (ANIH).
