Architect graduated from the Bío Bío University with a PhD in Urbanism, Polytechnic from the University of Catalunya. Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Urban Planning and Geography of the University of Concepción. His main areas of teaching and research are forms of urban growth and the revaluation of heritage and cultural landscapes. Among his latest publications are: "Habitar colectivo en las riberas del Biobío. Residential enclaves of the paper industry" and "Architectures of national industrialization. The Bío-Bío Papers as a primary autonomous enclosure."
